Progress Update 1

So far, those of us at Red Army Media have been putting in time to making a working and easy to browse site. We are still deciding on what our name should be, so we may very well not be Red Army Media by the next update.

What We Have Done

• Given out our pitch to several talented people who we are interested in having as creators.
• Decided on using Blogger to host our website (at least for the time being)
• We also dabbled with using Wix and made a beautiful site, however to do anything with impact we would need to purchase Wix Premium out of pocket
• Designed three possible logos (Courtesy of Ben Day)
• Talked to our probable teacher supervisor and gotten support.
• We have the eventual option of being recognized as a club and getting a technology fund, but that is much further down the road.

What We Want To Get Done

• Start up a weekly podcast
• Publish regular updates
• Get a surplus of content to slowly release during dry periods of things being published
• Improve our mobile site
• Make an Instagram/Snapchat account
• Take a group picture of the core staff for the site
• Get some pictures for the different types of articles.
